drrivas
I recently upgraded my lighting to a 32watt CSL smartlight in my eclipse-12. With the old 9 watt light, the mushroom would open up and aim itself to the light. Now it is open but is flat against the rock and kind of wrinkly. It is now at the top of the LR and is in direct light. Should I move it to a less sunny spot? Thanks!!! Link to comment
Daniel
sounds like you need to acomadit them start out with 4 hours a day then move the time up 5 or 10 min a day until yhey are at a full days lighting if they are shrivleing up at 4 hours then go to 3 hours just make shure that they are happy Link to comment
Metznreef
yeah you really need to acclimate them because with such a big light cahnge there is a good chance of bleaching or harming the shrooms Link to comment
pulpsmack
Same species, same tank, same EXACT situation, only I am freshly adding a newly purchased colony. These guys are right. My reading shows that mushrooms (particularly the vibrant colored ones) require such intensity for pigmentation. It just sounds like intensity shock in your case. Link to comment
