qbical Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 i just happened to look into my tank and noticed my PFF just kinda sitting on the sand. he NEVER does that so immeadately go in to look and he has a mark on his left side and it breathing really hard and turning transparent pretty much. idk wtf the deal is unless he got too close to my BTA, but idk about that. he looks really really bad is what i do know though. see the mark on him is the left side (Bottom pic) mid/rear. it had a little trail off stuff off it, for some reason i cant really see it in the pic but i can see it on him. i only have a little breeder box no qt so he is in that but not looking good at all. input please
nanoty Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Wow, that guy looks rough. I hate to say it but it doesn't look good for him. Not sure what is going on but I would want him away from my other fish just in case.
DCG1286 Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Yeah...don't know exactly what happened to him...just got sick i suppose...but yeah...he hasn't been doing well...his fins are deteriorating...it's a sign he has been sick for a little bit...In a daze he may have smacked into the anemone...it's hard to say for sure...but yeah he doesn't look to hot. -David
qbical Posted August 20, 2008 Author Posted August 20, 2008 thanks guys, for some reason it didnt even tell me i got any responses to this thread (i was fukn pissed lol) unfortunately cookiepuss kicked the bucket shortly after this post. the ONLY think i can really think of is that he must have been playing w one of the clowns and got touched by my BTA. like i said i saw one little mark on his side with some stuff stringing off of it. i cant believe that he got wasted like that. i was gonna blame my pom pom maybe but i think he would have been all over his kill as opposed to hiding.
badbread Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Sorry to hear/see that... Did you feed it to the BTA post mortum?
