dpotts
Hi. I just added 2 clowns to my fairly new 29g BC. I also have 1 cleaner shrimp,3 peppermints, hermits, and snails. Up until I got the clowns I was feeding 1/3 of a frozen mysis shrimp cube 3 times a week. Now I'm not sure how much and how often to feed. Any suggestions? Link to comment
cmgreenone
I feed my clowns pellets. Less uneaten food if any I have found. Link to comment
CorvetteJoe
I feed all my fish every other day. and every other time I switch between pellets and frozen foods. If I thaw out too much frozen, don't dump it all in there. If you leave it up to the lazy clean up crew, it might not get eaten and then cause your water to dirty faster. I dump my left over thawed out food into my FW tank. Those guys eat anything LOL. You could also just save any left overs in the fridge for the next feeding. I only feed as much as they will eat. With the little nano tanks, its easy to do since they all eat anything as soon as it hits the water anyway. Stop when they quit eating. Link to comment
Sexy Shrimp
Mine probably get the equivalent of about 1 cube between 2 clowns, 2 YWG, 1 neon goby, cleaner shrimp, sexy shrimps plus all my meat eating corals. 1/3 cube sounds plenty for what you have (and too much for just your cuc...)
