fish04 Posted January 23, 2002 Share Posted January 23, 2002 Try using a rubberband around the cutting and a rock. Once it attaches you can just cut the rubberband off. Thats what I do with my Xenia and Mushroom cuttings. Colts will work the same way. Link to comment

Christopher Marks Posted January 27, 2002 Share Posted January 27, 2002 I find for most things you can either wedge it into a hole on the rock and it will attach, or if it won't stay because of the current, or crabs knocking it over, then place a rubber band lightly around it. It usually takes corals about 2 weeks to fully attach. When you use the rubber band, you should check on the coral every day, because if the band is left on too long, the coral with grow around it.
