petkingdom619 Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 How do you know when your tank is ready for an anenome? What special care do they need? Can I control where it moves too? Do I need a skimmer to have one? I have a ap24 250w mh lighting 10k bulb params are normal water change once a week chemipure and filter floss and cheato for filtration My clown will not host any of my corals so I want to try an anenome
DCG1286 Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 What kind of Nem are you thinking??? Remember some of them get very large and will easily outgrow a 24G... First off...no you cannot control where they go...they have a very potent sting...so if it gets to your coral they can do alot of damage...I have a large carpet in my 45G...I don't do anything special...I also have a pair of CLarkii Clowns who take care of it...feed it...clean it etc.etc. I have a skimmer running on my tank. Good Luck! -David
lakshwadeep Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 How old is your tank? Is your clown captive bred?
