0rbital
I just bought a 12 gal Aquapod from someone locally yesterday. The price was too good for me to pass up considering it already had been running. It looks stock except for the return nozzle from the pump spins 360 degrees instead of a directional return nozzle. It has live sand and 10 lbs of live rock in it already. I've have been doing freshwater tanks for a while now but about 10 years ago I had a couple 55 gal reefs. I have never done salt this small. So I'm wondering what would be a good setup in this tank? Not sure what I'm going to stock with for coral yet and I figured maybe a pair of Ocellaris clownfish or ? Also my house has a water softener. Any problem with softened water for top offs? Link to comment

They didn't directly tell me to read but through my reading they told a bunch of other people to read. I assume the same goes for us. Unless your LFS isn't so L then you should really use RO from them for any water that goes in your tank. Link to comment
douglam
first off I definitely recammend only using water from your LFS. Second without a doubt u need to upgrade the return pump to something like the mj900.I can even do that and add another powerhead. Add a little more rock and other that that just take it slow Link to comment
