Urchinhead
SDT- For the record I am basing my views on research I did on the subject through papers published in the scientific and aquaculture literature. For the record I also have far less direct experience with the subject or for that matter many other subjects in this hobby including raising corals and fish than you do. And as you know I respect you and the vast majority of what you have to say over a broad spectrum of subjects. However in this case I need to again state that I respectfully agree to disagree with you and I am not interested in getting into a row with you over this. I respect your views on the subject and acknowledge that to you they are valid ones and ones you feel passionately enough about to raise issues with the ones that I consider valid and you don't. Toothpik
Tashayar-My perc was TR lol with a beautiful onyx into it! UrchinHead and SDT-both of you have been great help but it so happens in this cause SDT advice worked out so...i just did vitamin enriched feeding with zoe, selcon, and garlic guard and some gravel vacuuming...and watching my water conditions very closely...on the flip side my corals loved all the attention but so far i think the Perc is thriving and i want to say the white spot i saw was just some knick bc its stayed on there for about 3 days(ich is suppose to fall off after 24 hrs and reproduce) so i think im in the safe! Both of you, I respect your experience and knowledge and thank you for helping me out. Link to comment
Urchinhead
SDT- Cheers love! Toothpik- Based on the lit. it sounds like your fish acquired immunity on its own to ich. Good news! However keep in mind that any new fish you add will be exposed. Link to comment
