keithw
Today I got a yellow watchman goby from liveaquaria, and he has a brown line near his mouth. Is this normal? I've never seen this in any pictures of these fish so I wanna make sure he doesn't have some kind of disease. Link to comment

keithw
Apparently not... he died today Gotta say I'm not crazy about buying fish online. Going to check out my LFS this week, hopefully they have one in stock. Link to comment
lakshwadeep
This is my own opinion, but try to get another shrimp goby. Yellow watchmen colors are kind of dull. Link to comment
keithw
Yeah I might. What kind of goby typically sifts your sand a lot and has nice colors? Link to comment

lakshwadeep
Not all YWG are yellow I guess you could say some are brownish yellow or green yellow, and females are grayish... Link to comment

lakshwadeep
My homie has a pair of YWG and one day one of them changed colors to a totally different looking fish. Just found this article. Maybe they are now a mated pair (female being larger and gray). Breeding may occur! http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2005-12/ft/index.php Link to comment
