Sexy Shrimp Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 My pom-pom crab hides that much I always assume it's dead. Then all of a sudden I see him. They are nocturnal and very shy. As for jawfish - I've always wondered what people are talking about. Do you have a proper name?
h3llc4t Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 As for jawfish - I've always wondered what people are talking about. Do you have a proper name? You mean like scientific name? The blue spot jaw is Opistognathus rosenblatti, as an example.
krankykris Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 i don't think there would be any problems. the pom poms tend to hang out in the rocks, so it shouldn't be a big issue.
Aliasnumber1 Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 I had two blue spots (different times) with my pom poms. The second BSJF tried to eat the pom pom.

Laura6686 Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 anyone have any experiences with jawfish and pom pom crabs in a nano? Not both, but I love my jawfish. What a great personality. Do you have one?
ddk997 Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 I have a pom-pom crab, and to be honest I think their so useless because you pay for them and you rarely get to see them because they spend most of their times in the liverocks hiding. You'll be able to see them once and a while.
