clownfish05 Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 When you propagate zoos does that mean you let them grow out and spread by adding new polyps and then selling some of them? just curious thanks
Gerber77 Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 That is one of the ways. Or you can cut a piece from the colony and let that grow out. Some people take off a polyp or two and let them grow and then sell.

Gerber77 Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 I use a razor blade and find a polyp near the edge of my colony and scrape off a little rock under that polyp , then tank that polyp and super glue it to a piece of live rock rubble. Or I have used a hammer and skrewdriver to break off pieces of my colony to sell or trade them. Try looking in the Aquaculture section it has everything you need to know
