bluebastion
I've got one of them, and often wondered the same thing. I also had one, nasty and dead, that hitchhiked on some LR I bought for my sea horse tank. It really is ugly... but what's funny is that you can't see a mouth, like on a eunicid worm. Just by the way it looks, it's almost identical to a large earth worm, but in a marine tank.. if that helps anyone to ID it. Link to comment
lakshwadeep
maybe a peanut worm, a Sipuluncan. they are harmless. http://www.chucksaddiction.com/hitchworms.html http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-04/rs/index.php Link to comment
GrandpaFeathers
i had one too, but not as big. I was feeding my mantis, and i purosly poked it really hard with the feeder stick. five minutes later it came out, and squirted a huge white cloud, then died. Link to comment
jof
it doesn't have a mouth like this picture from 1 of the links. It really looks like a big earthworm so there is no introvert. in the middel of the worm are some spots and from there to the end the worm is very thin. but it s true that it realy looks like a peanut worm Link to comment
