What is this coral?

I have this coral in my tank. At night or when it's agitated it closes up and all that is left is a hard rock with circular holes with a star pattern in the middle. There's tons of these 1/4" holes all around it and the "strands" come out of them when it opens up during the day. The "rock" is bone white and very sharp just like coral, so I'm trying to figure out what kind of coral this is.

No problem.

I like the looks and movement of this coral but... It will kill most corals...

It will kill small dogs also.

That's why the zoos behind it are starting to shrivel up. I had no clue. It will only kill them through contract correct? It won't do damage if I keep it away from other corals?

It's a 24g DX Nano Cube with stock lighting. I'll probably be upgrading to 150w MH in the next month or so.

Maybe I have one of those...

I have nice Galaxia and I have never seen those long sweepers. I checked at all hours of the day and night. But, I keep it in it's own corner of the tank just to be safe.
