BJV
Has anyone's sun coral spawned? Happened to catch mine today - and the 2 clowns were having a feast. Had to research to make sure that was what was happening. Was able to catch a bit on video. http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/362771-new-black-sun-coral/page-3#entry5250182 Barry Quote Link to comment
Qckwzrd
I caught mine doing it once and was able to record it. I currently see one baby on a rock all by its self. Quote Link to comment
DGuidry
I have some beautiful dendros, that started out with only three heads and have multiplied, but now I'm losing one of the heads to this red stuff? Someone said it was a sponge. I've taken it off everyday, but it keeps coming back. Anyone have any ideas? Quote Link to comment

FollyFish
Hello I just wanted to add my 2 cents. Here is a pic of my Dendro. I started with one very expensive head about 5 months ago. Now I have about 8 heads and a very happy looking Dendro colony. It closes up for about an hour to two hours around noon when the lights are the brightest and then is open for most of the day and night. I feed it once a day, whatever the fish are getting, normally something frozen. 1 Quote Link to comment
DGuidry
FollyFish, pretty!! Mine are still looking good, where that "stuff" isn't. I'm hoping BJV will check in again sometime soon and give me some advice. I keep pulling the red stuff off but it keeps coming back. I don't want to just brush it off and let it float around my tank so I'm going to try to brush it next time I do a water change. Dendros are so pretty. I just got another couple heads of one that is slightly different shade of orange. 1 Quote Link to comment
