AZINDY Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Nice pic! I like all the different shapes the duncans change too through out the day. They have become my favorite coral in our tank every since we picked some up. We started with a frag that had two heads, then I stumbled on to a deal for 2 colonies that had about 15 heads each for CHEAP.
dsoz Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 I just picked up a three head duncan (also growing two more baby heads off one of them). The LFS was selling them for $15/head. Is that a good price? He cut me a deal and the whole piece was only $40. The piece was mostly brown when I got it. I did not notice the green iridescence until about a week later, Now it is turning REALLY green. I am starting to like it more. For a while I was starting to wonder what all the fuss was over duncans. Now I am starting to agree. It is a lot of fun to watch feed. I think they are my third favorite coral after Frogspawn and the rainbow acan that I scored from a friend. dsoz
SaltWaterNewb Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Good price IMO. I paid $25 for a single head that in a few months has grown to 5 heads. I love duncans and want to get a couple more different colors. Mine is green. I would love to grab up a blue one.
