Is there such thing as a digital Probe?

is there a probe that forgoes the test kits and gives you readings of yoru tans, alk, ca, mag, ph, etc all in one scoop? if so where can i get one? i hate testing with strips...

They make probs for pH, calcium, perhaps alkalinity, tds, and salinity meters, I think maybe even a nitrate meter, but that's about it.

 

The problem w/ probes in general is that for them to be accurate, you need to calibrate them just about every time you use them. Faster just to use a test kit imo.

 

Get a Aquarium Pharmaceuticals master reef and saltwater test kit. It is a liquid kit, but soooooo easy to use.

so nothing i could possibly just leave in the tank. like. my temp probe?

Well I guess you could always look into a ACJr. or something. They have pH probes, and temp probes. Those are the two values that you'll want to monitor frequently anyway.
