I received these frags as throw ins or freebies from Altis Reef since they were moving to their new location. Was wondering if anybody has some names for them.

These are some sort of Paly, not very colorful but fills a nice space at the bottom of the tank.

These are pretty colorful at times, I believe they are Guava Greens but would like confirmation.

Not sure what those first ones are but they definately look like a paly. The second one look more like radioactive dragon eye's as the skirts aren't long like the Guava Greens. I got some of those from them and they look the same to me. Mine don't have the blue ring you normally see with the dragon eyes and are more of a deep dark green to me. Anyway hope that helps. you can also check zoaid.com for more pics.

I received the radioactive dragon eyes from Altis, they are definitely not those. These are more of a forest green, with a goldish yellow interior. There is some fluorescence with them as well depending on angle and especially under the moon lights.

Here is a pic of my dragon eyes

The dragon eyes are much much brighter than the others as well. I wish I could do a side by side since the pics don't display the difference in color and brightness.

They are called Palythoas and Zoanthids. There...

Thank you Mr. Obvious. I was actually looking for more of a name for the specific type of Paly and Zoa. But thanks for the input, I hear the sky is blue too.

There are no real "specific types(names actually since they are zoas by type)" there is only the names that people make up for what they have.

Nice palys though and they resemble the ones called protopalys.
