heya nano-reefers,

so heres an odd one for u all, i just purchased a new mushroom coral, and upon inspecting it closer today. i discoverd that it had flatworms all over it. they are small approx 1/8th of an inch, and slightly purple pinkish. so i began to remove them with a pair of tweezers, gently moving the folds of the mushroom to make sure they were all gone. when suddenly the mushroom began to push out a small white slighly folded worm looking thing out from its mouth. wich i can only assume is its guts. however i am concerned that this might possibly be bad. has any one else heard of such a thing? will it recover? any ideas?

many thanks

just its guts. this will happen when its stressed or when youre touching it. no big deal and it should pull them back in again soon.

yea mine have spit them out like 3" scared the sht outta me.

i just siphen around my shrooms if i see any flatworms. that normally does the trick w/o bothering the shroom more then it folding outta the way.

itll pull them in. if it doesnt then its not happy where it is so make sure its not getting stung and is in lower flow. itll be fine though.

glad i can help

i just control the suction flow by putting my finger on the end of the water/siphen tube so i dont suck them up
