IdahoReef
How long should I quanantine for flatworms? There were not any in the system I got the live rock from, but they had them in some of their other tanks. Just want to be careful since this is going into a new setup. Link to comment

Kimberly63
I don't have any dip. How long in this situation? Just a minute or two depends on the solution you buy. it'll say right on the package. You don't dip your live rock, just coral frags. Link to comment
IdahoReef
Just to clarify: I bought some live rock. The facility where I got it has flatworms. There were not any visible in the tank I got my rock from. I do not have any chemical with which to treat the rock. How long should I wait before integrating the live rock with the rest of my system to make sure no flatworms came home with me? Link to comment
Kimberly63
Put the rock in quarantine and try this: http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?...p;hl=Kimberly63 If you don't see any flatworms, your rock should be fine. Usually flatworms attach themselves to coral not LR Link to comment

IdahoReef
Kimberly, thanks and I will try that. I currently have the rock in a bucket with a heater and very small PH> GF, I've been here a while. Check out my build thread. It kinda stalled for a while, but things have picked up and it is even wet right now. Just with fresh water to do plumbing leak testing, but wet is wet. Link to comment
