Reef_Peep
One of the remote ballasts of my Oceanic Biocube 14g died after only having purchased the tank 2 months prior. I have called Oceanic to have a new one sent, but it seems like a long time coming. Is this common for the Oceanic Ballast? Is there an alternative ballast that will work better? I searched for this topic in the nano-reef.com forums, but I didn't come across a topic solely to address this? Link to comment

henryping
Defect ballast appears to be a common issue with BioCube. One of mine is bad as well and Oceanic told me they are out of stock and new ones won't come till the end of June. Someone has upgraded stock lighting for BioCube 14 and put ballasts for sale couple days ago. You can check and see if they're still available: http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?...&hl=ballast Henry Link to comment

I called customer support two weeks ago and I am still waiting. They had the ballast in stock and stated they would send one my way. ::crossing fingers:: Link to comment
