BibleSue Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Are you using a hydrometer or a refractometer to measure your salinity?
qbical Posted June 4, 2008 Author Posted June 4, 2008 refracto and i checked it about 2hrs after lights out, maybe a bit less. i also forgot to mention that everything in my tank looks pretty good. i would think everything else would look like sht also, esp my clowns. this sucks soo bad that i leave tomorrow and my girl n bro have NO idea about marine life
gulfsurfer101 Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 You can take like five gallons out of it, mix some freshly made saltwater higher than what you normally do and add it to yo tank. If it's still low take another five gallons out and slightly rasie it again using the same water add it back to your tank. You can do this till it's in range but it shouldn't take long. It never takes me more than twice to get it right on.

skydive Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 How long are you going to be gone? Do you have an ATO system?
gulfsurfer101 Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 How long you plan on being away, get that timer yet? I haven't been home for the last six days and when I got home today everthing is still looking good with the exception of all the diatome algea on the glass. Hope you get you salinity in check so you won't trip out for your whole vacation.
