ramesis
Hi, My slipper coral (Polyphyllia) has not opened in two days. I am not sure what is wrong. Does anyone have experience with these corals? I have had it for two weeks and it seemed fine. I think something must have gone wrong after I moved some rocks around. The Zoos are doing fine, the brains are good too. Even one of them is getting it's color back it was bleached from the LFS. The polips look good too.. He is the only one that is not happy. I did have an apstasia that died after I moved the rocks. So I am not sure if I let something nasty into the water column. I might move it to the sandy bottom.. Pictures: Link to comment
jmorosky
What happened with this? Is the coral ok now? Link to comment
nanofish36
I've kept a slipper before and they are my favorite coral! They like bright light, but might adapt to lower. I had mine in the front of tank on top of the substrate. They like moderate water currents. Link to comment
