peasey
I've got a quick question for you nano-ers. Does your heater even come on during a 24hr period. I did a test last night by moving the MH ballast out of the stand and unplugging my heater. With just the two MJ1200 returns and an occasional surge from a Koralia Nano, my tank was 78° at 6am. I have a Jebo fan (Azoo clone) aimed at the back of the hood, but it only comes on when the temp hits 82° and turns off at 80°. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm not really worried, but I just wonder about the long term effects of 80°+ water every day. I'm used to running my 75g at 76°-79°. Link to comment
Mischeif Nite
My heater doesn't come on all day while my 150w mh over my 10g is on.....only comes on at night. The low temperatures in my area (philly, PA) are still 50-60 degrees my house is cooler at night (65-70 degrees), hence why the heater is coming on at night. Link to comment
peasey
I know that I'll need it later this year, but I was sort of suprised to see that the pumps alone were keeping the temp at 78°. Link to comment
