Chrissy
When I turned on the lights in my aquarium this morning, everything was fine. I put in half a cube of mini mysis, and my pj cardinal and fire shrimp went to town on it. I shut the flow off about 5 minutes later for the rest to settle on the corals. About 15 minutes later, I came back to turn the pumps back on, and Simon(fire shrimp) was lifeless upside down in the sand twitching a little. I thought he could be molting, so I left him for a while, until I saw a large nassarius snail climb on top of him. I moved him from the nassarius snail, he moved a little more, and then nothing...he's dead. He was just flying around the tank chowing on mysis and then dead 1/2 hour later? It doesn't make sense to me. Water parameters are amm, nitrites, nitrates,phos....0 Calcium...400 PH is low at 8.0 KH is low at 125.3 Salinity is 1.024 on the deep six Link to comment
