jakeroberts Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 I have Kept tropical fish and african cichlids for over a year now and I have finally managed to get my mum and dad to say yes for a marine nano. the tank im am going to be using is a 2 foot EQUIPMENT: - 2 Powerheads 500lph - internal 800lph filter -hydrometre -thermometer -100 watt heater - salt -coral sand -Light with stock bulb 15 watt ( would this be any good for any type of coral) -17 kg of live rock im thinking of -1 pajama cardinal -1clown -coral goby -Blue damsel with just a normal cleanup crew is that all i need. will post pictures soon any help would be apprectiated
j'field Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 Hi jakeroberts, welcome to the hobby. imo, it would be good if you have a skimmer. And I think your lighting might not be strong enough (I might be wrong) And most importantly is to be patient and gotta cycle your tank at least 3 weeks to a month and check the water parameters before adding any LS(LiveStock).
