knight
I think ive narrowed it down to two types of things. Carpet anemone or ricordea. He is light blue with bell shaped (short) tentacles and when i touch him he sticks very heavily and has even taken skin away from my finger. His diameter is about 2in. I'll try to do a picture im still new so bare with me. Welll i couldnt figure it out anyone willing to help please do. Link to comment

Lalani
Look at adin's thread to compare what you have to his mini-carpets: http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?...7070&st=360 You may have to go back a page or two. And here's a normal blue carpet nem: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_di...amp;pcatid=1393 Link to comment

jimbo327
It's probably a nem if it is that sticky. I've never had a sticky ric, especially if it takes flesh. Very unusual. Picture looks like ric, but need more closeup with mouth to make sure. Link to comment
knight
yeah i know about the picture. I really don't have the camera to do the closeups. But the mouth is a pinkish color in the inside and a light purple no yet pink on the outside if that helps. Link to comment

knight
does anyone have a really good picture of a ricordea like mine so maybe i could compare. Please and Thank you all for the help. I almost forgot. When I feed him he can grab a hold and move the food towards the mouth. And one question could to much calcium cause the corals to start looking bad? Link to comment

By the pic, it looks like a ric, but by your description, it sounds like an anemone. (well, rics ARE anemones, but you know what I mean) Link to comment
bluesky
Looks like Ricordea ... mini carpet can move around too ... rics usually don't but the pic really looks like a ricordea. Link to comment
knight
It doesn't look like the pictures fishy freak got. The thing would not move anywhere but in high light otherwise he would fall and move somewhere else and the picture i have doesn't accurately describe him because its really bad. I'll try to get a better one tho. Thank you for all the help Link to comment
