Detritus07 Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 what can i put in my 3g to eat pods? any ideas? What's in there now? (fish-wise)
circusordie16 Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 why do you want to get rid of them? theyre population should be self-regulating meaning that there will only be as many pods as the available food can support. so if youre feeding and you cut back a little bit then your pods should go down.
Kade Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Just throw a Mandarin in there...It'll be fine.... Totally Joking, Please don't do that
constantocean Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 trimma goby is 3gallon suitable and looooves pods.
bluesky Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 what can i put in my 3g to eat pods? any ideas? sixline wrasse can get rid of them real quick. But you should not do that ... pods' population regulate by itself ... no need to do that ... unless what you have is ISOPODS ... that's a different story ... most are no good.
bluesky Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Even a mexican redhead goby will work nicely in there too
matty0206 Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 How about a catalina goby? He would need a chiller for long term success!
teajay33 Posted May 6, 2008 Author Posted May 6, 2008 He would need a chiller for long term success! there are no fish in there any longer. my clown goby came up missing. i havent seen him or my sexy shrimp. pom pom and hermits/snails still doing fine though.
mmelnick Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 why do you want to get rid of your pods? It's just more food and happier healthier fish once you restock.
Rehype Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 pods were starting to overtake my pico so i decided to move my Green banded goby in. In less than 2 days pod population was totally in check.
