iNano
what is the purpose of removing the false bottom? what chamber is it in, i have heard 1 and 2 and 3? can someone please make a diagram/picture? Link to comment
colberag
I assume you are talking about a biocube. If so, it is in the bottom of chamber 1 and I removed it so I could fit a stealth heater in that chamber. Link to comment
reefatschool
I too removed the first chamber floor in my biocube so that they stealth heater would fit, I also have a bag of chemipure elite in it. For the second chamber i left the floor in there so the the cheato that i put in there doesnt go threw to the pump and its a fuge. The third chamber doesnt have a floor, at least in the biocube 8. colberag
I'm pretty sure stealth heaters can run out of water (or automatically shut off when out of water) so you don't have to worry about them cracking and frying your tank. They are also jet black so if you dont put them in the back chambers, they blend in really well with the black background of the tank. Link to comment
