Reef Chicks
Hi and to N-R! The BioCube is a great starting all-in-one tank. There are several different types of these tanks. They come in 8g, 14g and 29g. Some are for sale in the classifieds section on here. Also, try Craigslist in your town. If you are interested, I have a used BC29 for $175 shipped insured in the original box. That brings everything you need to start except the water, sand (if you are doing a sandy bottom) and the fish. Anyways, good luck and do a build of whatever tank you end up setting up. Link to comment

lucy10203
thanks for the suggestions guys! your 29g sounds like an amazing deal, but its just to big the dorm..=( Link to comment
Reef Chicks
Yeah, I didn't realize that you were keeping this in a dorm... duh! Anyways, you may be tempted to go with a pico (smaller than 5g) but they are very difficult to stabilize. The smallest I would go is a BC8 or equivalent in the AIO or maybe a 10g with a HOB filter. I saw someone running an AC 110/500 in their 10g not too long ago. Link to comment
jsleep
How much longer will you be in your dorm room? Are you staying for the summer? Moving tanks is an ordeal. Link to comment
