cody6766 Posted December 18, 2008 Share Posted December 18, 2008 I used 2 of the screw ins over my 2.5g pico and they worked well. I used a bit of reflector on the canopy and it helped a lot. I didn't see a whole lot of growth, but my corals were open, happy and healthy. I even managed to keep some candycane and favites in there. They're happier in my big tank w/MH lighting, but they did just fine for a few months in that tank. I wouldn't say you should rush out and try this though. I was VERY careful with this tank and had very good luck with it. As well as that worked, I'd buy one of the PC fixtures and scrap the C/F bulb idea if I did it again. Link to comment
Psychosis Posted December 22, 2008 Author Share Posted December 22, 2008 I'm waiting on this tank since I just got a Boyu 9 for christmas. I'm freaking extatic about that though. I do still intend to have this set up some time soon, after my new tank is up and running. Thank you all for the help, I'll update on this tank when it's in action. Link to comment
