gvidoni
Recently my wife and I doubled our aquarium size from a humble 8g BC to a larger, yet still humble 14g BC. As a result we have quite a bit more space and were eager to add some color to the aquarium. Given our PC lighting, we were restricted to the normal run of soft corals and a few LPS corals. I'm a big zoanthid fan and had been scouring local stores. Their selection was decent but I was neither impressed by the colors of their zoas nor the prices. So, one night while glancing around on nano-reef I decided to check the sponsor specials forum and came across a post by an apparently new vendor on the scene called Alti's Reef. I have had mixed experiences with mail order though the pictures on his site looked great and the prices were right. In addition I was reassured by what seemed to be pretty regular attention to posters comments and questions in the thread. Finally I decided to take a chance and placed an order for a number of zoa frags and more recently some mushrooms. I have been extremely pleased with what I received, both in terms of product and service. Two of the frags didn't make it in the first shipment (one zoa, and one kenya tree coral that came with the pack) and Alti's was more than willing to credit me for the order and went beyond in adding a replacement in my next order on the house. The owner was responsive by email and phone. You don't find service like that often anymore. I also like the fact that they are farm raised and not pulled from the ocean. So, here are a few pics I took - my first try at tank photography with out new DSLR. I'm pretty psyched and can't wait to see these things grow out. Hope you guys like the picks. Let me know what you think. Link to comment
nanoty
Wow those look great. Are those the 10 pack size or the 6 pack size? Link to comment
gvidoni
10 pack. To give you an idea: 2nd pick is the largest frag. 3rd pic is about average. There are two frags a bit smaller. Link to comment
nanoty
Nice, I like how they aren't sitting on a 1 square foot frag tile. Link to comment
gvidoni
Nice, I like how they aren't sitting on a 1 square foot frag tile. They do ship on round tiles though I have them buried to be just about level with the sand. The last frag I popped off and attached to a rock myself. Link to comment

Gourami Swami
What a coincidence, I just started a nano reef and I was just looking at alti's site! I came here to ask if it was a good dealer! Also, alti are you seriously in hackensack? Haha I live in maywood and go to hackensack high. Where is your store? Link to comment
