John30507
My CUC from reef scavengers arrived! Everything appears to be alive except for the sea cucumber. The water is yellow, there are many particles floating around, the cucumber is shriveled, and there is a long white thing in the water. I will get pics in a minute. The heater in the tank went out, so I put a space heater on the glass. The water conditions in the QT are horrible. The Nitrates are between 5-10, Ammonia is about .50, Nitrites are about .50, and pH is 7.8-8.0. Should I put the CUC into the QT, then mix more salt water to do a water change? Please help! There is quite a bit of stuff. I don't have a very big container GRRRR!!! I was on my way out to get the distilled water out of my brother's truck, but he is not here... Im up the creek now! I think I am just going to put everything but the cucumber in the main tank & skip the QT.... Link to comment

John30507
^^Great. Now all I have to deal with is the cucumber. I am floating the bags now. Is the float method ok, or should I use the drip method? Link to comment
John30507
They are in my tank now, and appear to be healthy! I am so happy! Reef Scavengers is the best, they gave me store credit for the cucumber. As far as I know, I still have to pay shipping... Link to comment
Smurf
Very awesome. Please tell me how it goes! Goodluck! Link to comment
John30507
Wow! I love the diversity of critters in my tank. If I am not mistaken, Smurf, you wanted to order this package? I think it should work out for you, but I would not reccomend any more of a CUC. It is not as much as you think it is. The critters are all very small. I couldn't count it all out if I wanted to. If ReefScavengers has anything that you want to order, I would reccomend them. They are helpful and respond quickly. Shipping was a little slow IMO. Link to comment
ebin
how fast was the expediting of your order? i recomended them to a friend and it took over 1 1/2 weeks to get his order out to him from the time he paid. was this how it was for you? He also loved the order he recieved, but it seemed like they took thier sweet time. xoxo Link to comment
Smurf
I was guessing all of the critters would be small. They keep mentioning about the "Juvenile" snails and hermits what not. We'll see. I am wondering, do you think you got what your paid for? Link to comment

I was expecting same day shipping, but it clearly says "2-5 day processing period" I was guessing all of the critters would be small. They keep mentioning about the "Juvenile" snails and hermits what not. We'll see. I am wondering, do you think you got what your paid for? I would definitely say that I got what I paid for. I'm ticked off about the cucumber. At least they gave me store credit for it though. The Emerald Crab and Porcelain Crab are both fairly large. The urchin was bigger than I was expecting as well. Have you found any other packages/have any other ideas? Link to comment
