I seem to recall reading that the force of the magnet decreases as the cube of it's thickness. So depending upon their strength you might find that the 1/8" acrylic + tank walls will drop the force a little too much to hold up a pump... of course I couldn't see a strength rating on that site so it may be irrelevant. Mikec0078 Posted February 15, 2008 Share Posted February 15, 2008 I just used a XLarge Magnet Cleaner Then I superglued the Sure Flow MJ mod kit to it, and voilla. Works like a charm, and I don't have to scrub around it... I just move it around a bit Link to comment
