p-daddy
I understand both of these corals have a decent sting, but if placed in close proximity of each other...will they kill one another if one stings the other? I am wrestling with maximizing my real estate. Link to comment
BytheSea
The hammer is going to have a farther reach than the acan. Just make sure the hammers tenticles will not reach the acan, because it will sting and kill. Link to comment
p-daddy
thanks, I've read that hammers can have sweeper tentacles longer than their regular tentacles, but I have yet to see mine extend them. During the day its always open, and appears to be growing steadily (tiny new tentacles emerging around the rim, and what looks like 2 new infant branches at the base of the branch) Link to comment
BytheSea
I've really never seen them on my frogspawn either, but my hammer is a different story. The sweeper tenticles are thinner & extend out past the other tenticles. Link to comment
Gomer
Depends on the Acan. My acan lord is very friendly and doesn't harm anything. My acan echinata would kill anything around it, including a hammer....easily. Link to comment
