I rearranged my rocks last night, they idea is to try and get more flow around the rocks, the picture does not look very clear as its still not long after i have re-done it, the algae is not as bad as it looks!! Phosphate reactor is starting to do its job!!

What do you guys think? -

I'm also a Prizm user. Thou not the best skimmer, i'm stuck with it, mainly because i have a large monti colony thats grown up so well under the return flow, so.

But yeah, like they said, more rocks in there ;)

I would build up the right side a bit more, so it is at least level with the left, and maybe add a tad of height to the center, but not much. An open setup like yours allows a lot of room for corals to grow! This is very important if you intend to avoid the evil ROCK WALL.

The glass can be kept clean with ease, the right side of the glass is covered anyway so that is not a problem, i mainly view the tank from the front pannel as where the tank is situated its harder to look through the left one lol

I don't need more rocks, i already have 10kg in there which is enough for 65 litres, its all sitting on top of each other, thats why it looks a little empty!!

Im adding a few more corals this week, favia, zoas, more zoas and possbily a cacti pavona, the reason i have not got many corals in there is because i have been spending my money on trying to sort out the phosphate problems i had, but in the end after wasting plenty of £££'s on chemicals etc, i bought a reactor, and this seems to be working!!

I do have some zoas under the powerhead, they faded a little and look like algae but thats the zoas lol Also its a phone camera so its crap pictures im afraid!! But i'd rather spend money on more corals than a digital camera that i will not use much lol

Its a prizm skimmer, does a good job, people say there rubbish but i say don't knock it until you try it ;) lol

Its an aquastart 500 made by aqua one >
