Coral Question

So I have a tank 14 gallon bio cube with stock lighting and it has been up and running for about a year now. Today i ran across a frag expo and decided that I was going to jump into the coral game now too. I just wanted to make sure I made a good decision and that I got good advice as to which to get. In my tank I have two clowns and some waving hand polyps attached to the rocks. Other than that I have a few green mushroom coral and a small frogspawn. Well today i got a bird's nest coral, green zoas, and a star polyp....Just wondering on placement and requirements of these. mainly the star and the birds nest. I was told that they will be fine anywhere in my tank...and no feeding requirements...true? My last question is...they came on the little frag stand...how do I put them in my tank? do i leave them on that? remove them? how and the star poly...where and how do I place that. sorry for all the questions...I have never been one to be impulsive when it comes to my tank. I suppose that i bought all of them for 20 total may have been a factor in it :) well thanks in advance!!!!

i dont think the birds nest will survive with the stock lighting...and yes they are required to be fed about twice a week...other than that i think u can put the polys wherever you plese as long as they get light

The green Zoas can go just about anywhere. The start polyp I would put about nid way up the rockwork. The bird's nest as close to the top as you can get it. All should have some flow going over them, the bird's nest a lot of flow. The do not need to be fed. They will get nourishment from the lights and from things flying around the tank when you feed the fish. When you say frag stand do you mean a little round or square flat plug? If so just leave them on it and place (you can use super glue gel if you want) them where you want the. If in the sand for the zoas, just set the plug there.
