JKUNZ
My girlfriend has two beautiful RBTA...with a pair of true percs. They have been losing full tentacles which just settle on the bottom before we remove them manually. I'm yet to find any definitive answers as to why this is happening. They seem very healthy, and it's almost as if something is "clipping" their tentacles off. Is it possible that the percs might be?She has nothing else that would and or could. I also read on RC that it might be due to stress and or attempting to split, but I've found zero evidence to back that up except for one guys "opinion." Has anyone heard of this or know why it may be happening? Thanks for your help in advance!Keep in mind that both are doing this, one more than the other. This leads me to belive that it is the percs doing it, but want to know if this is possible. Link to comment

JKUNZ
Salanity 1.023, pH 8.2-8.3, Nitrates, nitrites, ammonia 0 (not registering). The parameters aren't suggesting it's water conditions causing this....hence my question as to if anyone knows of percs clipping the tentacles off their host anemones. Link to comment

allenspidey
I find it doubtful that the percs would be nipping or rubbing hard enough to remove tentacles. I would think that it would be bad for a BTA to lose tentacles. Since they are little more than bags of water, it couldn't be good. Link to comment
