nanoreefnate Posted January 26, 2008 Share Posted January 26, 2008 well i decided to make a pico out of this old 1.5 gallon hex last week...i put some substate from a refuguim that i never got around to plumbing...added on a 5-15 gallon regent filter onto it...i also put an office lamp with a 60watt CFL bulb as linghting...and put in some LR that was also in the never plumbed refuguim...i then added some water from my 12g NC DX and put some API bacteria in there and got it started...2 days later since there was barley any cycle...i put in a little colony of zoas...this is what it looked like about 5 days ago... FTS Equipment Waterflow heres the colony of zoas... then about 3 days ago i decided to get a nano HOB filter...so i went to petco and got the Red Sea nano HOB filter for upto 3 gallons...then thursday...(mybirthday)...i went to my LFS (atlantis aquariumn and got a pair of pepermint shrimp and a CUC of a nassarius snail, and 2 really small blueleged hirmits...i also got some more live rock...then when i got home allot of my shipments pf coral had come and i put 2 rics,2 zoa colonies,1 paly colony and 1 shroom...i also put a small ball of cheato...hereis how it is now...
