coolwaters Posted January 26, 2008 Share Posted January 26, 2008 iv seen that before also did it to mine. i didnt cut off the output tho since i need that for plumping... the holes that i drilled didn't really help. i noticed that water was being shot out of them O.o i like the stream mod....go 2000gph!!! Probably because you either didnt enlarge the out put diameter to match the new intake volume ( IE cutting off the spout) or you drilled to large or to many holes? Link to comment

You want to drill them as close to the center as possible, as thats where the water will be drawn in. If it's too far out near the edges of the impeller, then water will come out the holes instead.
