adding metal halide

Hello all,

I'm thinking about adding a 150w (1400k) metal halide to my 37 gal reef. I have a range of soft corals. My question is......will I see a return of the intense color of my zoos if I add this? They all had much brighter coloration in the LFS and I'm wondering if this coloration will return. To add the new light I'm going to have to buy a canopy and somehow take apart my current light fixture and retrofit the whole deal, not an easy undertaking. My current light system is 2x: 65w compact flour. for a total of 130w.
