smokey_the_bear Posted January 22, 2008 Share Posted January 22, 2008 ok so i started my biocube 14 on the 19th and bought live sand from carrib sea and i have 15 pounds of live rockand ive put some in the chamber 2 and im gonna put some in chamber 1 and i also have timers for the light and the attinic runs for 14 hours and the full spectrum runs for 12 hours and right now my water is perfect and i have my clean up crew with 3 blue legs and 3 red legs then i have 8 snails and then i bought the bio cube protien skimmer and placed it in chamber 2 and in chamber one i have a heater and im still debating if i should buy the maxi-jet 900 instead of the stock pump and i also plan to put filter floss in one of the chambers so if any one has advice im all ears and heres some pics Link to comment

I love the increased flow but the Koralia nano is also another great option for more flow. Looking forward to seeing our tank progress and see how well that skimmer work. Link to comment

Looking forward to seeing our tank progress and see how well that skimmer work. ok well the skimmer i dont exactly if its working but i think it is and im probabbly gonna add the korailia and see how that goes and in 2 weeks or so i will try my first piece of corallove the tank, as far as upgrading to a maxi 900...
