Bonsai
Looks to be some sort of worm ... maybe an inch long? What is he? Is he bad? (I'm on day 5 or 6 of my cycle, this is on cured Live Rock in a 14g BioCube) Thanks! Link to comment
sdunkin
Looks like some type of Pod (Amphipod maybe?) to me. They are good guys, and are a common sign when you are nearing the end of your cycle (doesn't mean you are ready to add fish/coral yet though). Link to comment
Bonsai
I found this little guy today ... he is attached to my Live Rock. He responds to motion, when I open the top of the tank, he quickly pulls into a very small (1-2mm) "base" ... then a few minutes later, he slowly comes back out. Any ideas? Link to comment

Bonsai
Feather duster worm Good inhabitant :-) Wow, thanks! I'm pretty happy with the little hitchhikers that I've found. I have a little brittle starfish, this little feather duster, and some little pod guy who runs around my rocks at night Link to comment

I've spent hours staring at my tank looking for tiny critters going about their daily business.. Always enjoyable! Link to comment

jsleep
Enjoy the show. You will begin to find new things all the time. Noticing and focusing on these small cool things helped me stay patient during the cycle. Link to comment

Do these sound like copepods? What do copepods do exactly? Link to comment
