roncgizmo Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 I was in Petco one day and I found this Beta tank on sale for $3 and I thought WTH! I had no Idea what I was going to do with it and before I even got into my car it hit me... Pico! why not? I never had one so I'll give it a shot. The canopy was made from black ABS, a byproduct of my old Car audio days I had a 65GPH pump hanging around and used it to get some flow in the tank it's mounted behind some ABS with holes drilled in it and I added a little poly fill above the pump. The light was a 13w PC 50'50 out of a 12g eclipse tank that Rob from Altisreef.com gave me. all in all I got the whole thing done for 3 bucks! it has a .5g display and .1g sump (of sorts) Here's a few pics. the start: And now the end.
