c est ma
I know nothing about fish. This site has a lot of wrass pics, but on quickly tabbing through I don't think I saw yours. But you might want to take a look. Perhaps it will suggest a genus to search: http://www.saltcorner.com/sections/zoo/wrasses.htm --Diane Quote Link to comment

You know about how much they sell for? Thanks again! Quote Link to comment
The Propagator
VERY cheap. You can't enter the water and Florida and not see one hanging around a rock. ( obviously you know that though cause thats where you caught it ) You can get them all day long from most main stream Florida sellers for under $10.00 Tom sells them for 9.00 at Toms Caribbean Tropicals inc. You will likely not find any one who will buy it honestly. Because there are so many ans so easy to get. Try trading it. They may give you $10.00 or so Store credit ? lilredneckman
The only reason i ask is that i have NEVER seen and my my lfs have them before. Trading it is a good idea, thanks! Quote Link to comment
The Propagator
The reason is probably because they are so common, and they get ugly as sin when they mature ( IMHO. sorry ). Email Tom at Toms Caribbean tropicals and ask him. Dey is EVERY where. They are every where on the reefs. You just have to know what to look for and where. Super fast little bastages and they blend in perfectly with the substrate and rock when they are small. Those, SlipDick's, Blue heads, Yellow heads, Clowns, Green razors, etc etc etc.... are all very common wrasse's in Florida waters. Now the smaller sizes of the Pudding Wife wrasse are common, but larger ones over 3-4 inch are not so common because they head for deeper water and get picked off. but they can and do get to 12" or over.
