Best skimmer for 12 gallon nanocube

I'm trying to look for a skimmer for a 12 gallon nanocube. Anyone have experience with the Sapphire

Nanoskimmer from Nanotuners? Opinions on the best skimmer would be helpful.

I have the saphire skimmer on my 12g DX 1.70 nanocube. The skimmer is pretty good saying its in a nano. Pulls out about half filled container of pee looking skimate every 4 days

They're testing it right now. Looks to be a pretty good design, and the price is estimated at 89.99.

Where did you find it? I looked on Euro-reef.com a few minutes ago and didn't see anything about it. Do you thing it would fit in the back compartment of the nanocube 12?

Save your money and buy one of these its half the price and just as good.....Pacific Coast nano skimmer....Just my opinion though 31$ at customaquatics.com

Not sure whats the dimensions? Fits in my cadlights 25 gallon perfectly....my chamber is 4x5" the skimmer is only 12 inches high.

I can post some.....its still breaking in but skimming real nice after just a day........takes a little time tweaking it but seems pretty nice.

I'm interested in seeing how its working for you. I'm pretty sure there was someone else selling one on here because they were unhappy with the pump on it. It would definitely be a nice cheap alternative if it does work well.

Well usually you get what you pay for but in my opinion i do a 10% water change once a week and anything a skimmer pulls out besides that is good enough for me. With regular water changes i dont really think u even need a skimmer on a tank smaller than 25 gallons. With that said it seems like a pretty good design although i read the euro-reef version has a meshmod already installed which boggles my mind that these companys cant come up with a plastic impellar that works good but will instead have people tie mesh on it....i mean i can surf the internet wireless ..i can store 5,000 songs and movies on a little box "ipod" but we cant make bubbles in water..lol.......just my opinion
