Featherduster
Is it common for Zoas to grow on Bivalves? I originally bought this Zoanthid rock just for the coral but then noticed the strange shape of the random object pointing out. The Bivalve appears to be alive. It has opened and closed twice already. Also, do Bivalves get any benefit out of the zoas growing on them? Edit- Image doesn't appear to be working. Alive.bmp Link to comment

Featherdusters
lol, pretty cool. Is the clam living? Or just the shell? Thanks. Yup, its definitely alive. I saw it react to a sudden water current movement I created when I was trying to target feed my feather dusters. It can close pretty fast. Its funny because the zoas also reacted to the movement and closed. Link to comment
