Jamie
Not aiptasia. A relative however. I think it's called a beaded anemone, but I'm not sure. Link to comment

Cesar
I think they call those glass anemones. Or is it Rock Anemone? Hmm.. Link to comment
theglasseskid
is it possible that it is a curly q anemone? the tenticles are clear with sork screw like markings. Link to comment
steelerguy
That is a pretty cruddy picture, but it is an anemone. Doesn't really look like aiptasia, but hard to tell in that picture. Link to comment
MDeth
Cesar is right. Glass anemone, closely related to aiptasia... Doesn't spread as fast but more of a sting and definitely a pest. Link to comment
reefkidsclownfish
it's either glass or beaded string, Link to comment
c est ma
glass anemone = Aiptasia curley cue anemone = Bartholomea Just to keep things straight... Link to comment
Caesar777
It's a b.a. anemone. (That's b!tch-ass anemone, lol.) I'd nuke it if it were in my tank... GNARLY-strong sting either way, and my reasoning beyond that: if it's an Anemonia species, it'll reproduce like bunnies and walk around stinging everything; if it's a "Curly-cue", it'll get fairly large (I've seen them with a 3" oral disc and 4" long tentacles) and a SUPER-GNARLY sting! lol Link to comment
