How long does it take for a coco worm to open up?

I just got a coco-worm on Sunday and I haven't seen it open up between then and Monday night. does it take this long to get accustomed to a new tank or what? I'm worried that I might be doing something wrong.

It may take awhile to open up. As long as it doesn't shed its crown it should be ok

They can take a while to open. I've had mine close for a few days at times (like when I had to move my tank).

 

Like Juin said, as long as it doesn't shed it s crown, its fine. Even if it does, I believe it may eventually grow back.
