One of the 50/50 went out and I was going to replace it with a 10K instead of another 50/50 to get it brighter. but before I do, I wanted to find out if there's a replacement out there that I can fit to actually raise the wattage or even if that's even possible without taxing the ballasts? travisurfer Posted June 24, 2007 Share Posted June 24, 2007 the ballast determines how much power goes to the bulbs. so, no, without swapping out the ballast, you aren't going to make the light any brighter. Link to comment
