dga
will a ranco temp controller work with a visitherm stealth heater? is the ranco basically a temp influenced on/off switch? the stealth does not have a bulb to indicate when its on. Link to comment
Blacktone
My stealth has ran flawless for a while now, although a temp controller would be the smart thing to do it's just going to turn the power on when the temp drops too much then it will power the heater then the heater will detect it's too low then it will heat up the water till the external temp controller says stop. It's good to have that kind of redundancy, don't know about ranco controller haven't seen one but I can't say it's bad either. You can tell if your heater is working by watching your temperatures. if it gets really cold one night check to see if it's doing its job. Link to comment
