I have a BC14. I want to turn the 2nd chamber into a refugium. So if I take out the bioballs and the trickle down tray and add in a refugium, how do I get the fuge to stay submerged? does this require any cutting? also, as a side note, I just bought a RIO600 AND A HYDOR FLO, will this cause any problems if I just switch out the pumps or will I have to do some cutting so more water gets into the overflow faster?

I have a Nanocube with a refugium so it's almost similar....I just dumped all the factory media and pump that came with it in the back chambers and filled it will a little bit of LR tonga branches to keep the slot free to flow at the bottom then added my chaeto above that and fill it to the top. It usually stays under water so I didn't need to add anything to hold it down but you could use the drip tray to keep it submerged if you want.
